She tried to dress down, she thought she knew what a Biker's chick should wear. Unfortunately her ideas were about three decades out of date, and being an upper middle class English journalist with a cut-glass accent is a bit of a give-away, too. Bit she was so determined to find a scandal, the polite biker gang thought they should maybe give her one. Or manufacture one with her in it, anyway. Hence the handcuffs, the nakedness and the photos posted all over the internet!
