Love this grecian dress that Sophia brought along to our shoot! It somehow brought to mind classical allusions- Persephone carried off to the underworld and all that. Ariel had an interesting challenge trying to do a tie which was effective, but also which didn't spoil the lines of the dress or detract from the effect. And I had to choose between two competing instincts as far as lighting and grading went- the usual RE instinct to warm everything up a bit, to make it look like autumn, or to stick with the original inspiration and make for a much colder, wintery setting. (Which is what I went with in the end).
