Jinx is not exactly backward about coming forward. She knows what she likes, and what she likes is a man who takes control. Even if she has to bring the ropes along to their dinner date herself, just in case he forgets. Imagine how humiliating it would be for her if she were tied up in the restaurant. Tied to that pillar, for example? Why, what sort of beast would do that to a girl? And what sort of things might he do to her once her got her home afterwards? She couldn't wait to find out!
