It seemed like a very strange hotel. Just the one creepy assistant on the desk, no sign of any maids or waiters or even any other guests. Still, that's what you get when you're that far off the beaten track, thought Ariel to herself. And at least it'll be a peaceful evening in my room. I can finish my book.

Past midnight. A sound in the corner. A scratching, ripping noise. Like something tearing its way into the room. Was that a movement past the curtains? Is there something at the window? A rush. A scream... and Ariel fid herself trapped by the ghost which haunts this place!
