Emir Ibn'Azif kept an orderly house in his harem. He only chose the most delicious girls to be his slave girls, treated them well, leaving them chained but largely free to roam within the confines of the harem gardens. He didn't even post that many guards, because he trusted his slave girls not to try to escape.

A similarly lax attitude to the security of the palace did not do wonders for the Emir's health, and as he lay suffering from the effects of the poison introduced to his figs, the swift and daring thief who had stolen into the palace grounds made good his plan- to capture and carry off the best of the slave girls, for the harem of the Emir's deadly rival, Ibn'Kussharraf.

He knew exactly which girl to capture first. The pale-skinned northern one, with hair like cornfields and eyes like coral seas. He stole upon her in the garden where she was resting, locked her in a punishing hogtie to ensure that she could not go anywhere while he rounded up another prize or two for his employer!
