Two out of three newbies in the #GameOfSlaves join as a Mistress. After all the Mistress life is superficially more glamorous- all those gorgeous blouses, the strict corsets, the exotic skirts. And you get issued with your own stun-gun to zap anyone you please! (Although the damn things recharge far too slowly, by design!)

Trouble is, that means there aren't enough slaves to go around. You can carry being a Mistress without any slaves for a while, dominating the camera and talking the talk, but sooner or later you're going to have to enter the lists and walk the walk. That means there's LOT of competition between the Mistresses to own the best slaves. There's just not enough to go around.

And of course that means battles between rival mistresses. Some long-running vendettas started over a simple slave raid when some rival pinched an established Mistress' favourite pleasure slave. So what to do? You can enslave a rival you conquer, but the stun gun zap only lasts a few seconds, and that's usually not enough time to properly overpower her. The rules say you've got to strip a Mistress naked and collar her before you can call her a slave, and that takes too long when the guards are coming and you need to get in and get out on a slave raid. And one thing absolutely sure to start a raging bitch-feud with a rival is to dare to enslave her!

So for many reasons the #GameOfSlaves has evolved rules of decorum. When you overpower a rival on a slave raid, it's expected that you will zap her and restrain her in rope. That lets her get herself free eventually, even if there are no guards or slaves left to free her. It doesn't have the sigma of metal bondage, which is the uniform of the slave.

Most particularly, no collar and no taking all her clothes off. Stealing the latest fashion skirt or blouse, or adding a little titillating tease for the viewers is more or less expected, of course! But stripping a Mistress naked is tantamount to declaring a vendetta against her, because she's surely going to declare one against you. NOW you know why all the Mistresses wear corsets or waist cinchers- anything tight and boned and laced. You can't even cut them off in a hurry- if you're going to enslave a Mistress, you're going to have to really mean it!

Which brings us to mid-level Mistress Penny Lee. She's been riding high in the rankings recently with daring raids on the stables of Mistress Angel and Mistress Zoe, and her impeccable dress-sense. It's all been a bit too much of a threat, so Mistress Angel has launched a raid... taking not one not two but ALL of Penny's slaves, and leaving her tied in a wicked Chinese-inspired hogtie variant that's proving very popular on the boards!

This defeat won't immediately hurt Penny's standing- most fans love to see the Mistresses suffer and struggle from time to time after all! But it's laid down the gauntlet- Penny is going to have to launch a slave raid or a recruitment drive of her own, and soon, if she is to avoid a slip in the rankings!
