For our tutorial, Fogane had an elegantly simple and pure idea. He wanted Ariel bound on a polished wooden table, lit as if in a chamber of light, bound in a satin gown and stockings. He even brought along some coloured handcuffs to try out on her before going on to tie her in a nice tight hogtie.

My trick for lighting this sort of thing is simple- hang up white backdrop cloths and fire light from undiffused flash heads right thought it. That gives a giant wall of soft back light, which we complemented with a giant softbox in front of Ariel as well to give the lighting effect you see here.
